Heat Resistance
In TMT Bars, test results have shown no loss of strength up to 500deg. C. In the temperature range 550 to 600 deg. C, the Yeild strength decreases by 20 N/sq-mm only.
Corrosion Resistance
Rimjhim Turbo TMT Bars have better Corrosion Resistance property than normal CTD Bar. In TMT Bars, the fine layer of scale of a protective layer thereby preventing further corrosion, whereas in CTD Bars, this initial layar of scale falls down during the Twisting process. Corrosion Resistance can be further improved as per the requirement of the Customer by altering the material chemistry.
Thermo Mechanically Treated (TMT) Bars
As Per IS : 1786'85 and Fe-415, 500 & 550
High Strength Reinforcement Bars in Grades of Fe- 415, 500 &550 as per IS : 1786/'85, which achieve their properties by online thermo processing.
